AC.138, 창2:18, '사람이 혼자 사는 것이 좋지 아니하니'(AC.138-141)

18절, 여호와 하나님이 이르시되 사람이 혼자 사는 것이 좋지 아니하니 내가 그를 위하여 돕는 배필을 지으리라 하시니라 And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him a help as with him.

‘혼자’(alone)는 그는 주님의 인도하심을 만족해 하지 않았음을, 대신 자아와 세상으로 인도받기를 원했음을, ‘그를 위하여 돕는 배필’(a help as with him)은 인간의 본성(man’s own)을 의미하는데, 이는 이어지는 내용에서 ‘여자로 만드신 갈빗대’(a rib built into a woman)라 하는 것입니다. By “alone” is signified that he was not content to be led by the Lord, but desired to be led by self and the world; by a “help as with him” is signified man’s own, which is subsequently called a “rib built into a woman.”
