AC.526, 창5:28, '라멕은 백팔십이 세에' (AC.526-527) 28절, 라멕은 백팔십이 세에 아들을 낳고 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and ten years, and begat a son. 526By “Lamech” is here signified a ninth church, wherein the perception of truth and good was so general and obscure that it was next to none, so that the church was vastated. By the “son” is signified the rise of a new church.
AC.525, 창5:26-27, '라멕을 낳은 후' (AC.525) 26-27절, 26라멕을 낳은 후 칠백팔십이 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며 27그는 구백육십구 세를 살고 죽었더라 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he died. 525These words have a like signification.
AC.524, 창5:25, '므두셀라는 백팔십칠 세에' (AC.523-524) 25절, 므두셀라는 백팔십칠 세에 라멕을 낳았고 And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech. 524Nothing is mentioned concerning the quality of this church; but that its perceptive faculty was general and obscure, is evident from the description of the church called “Noah”; so that perfection decreased, and with perfection wisdom and intelligence.
