AC.94, 창2:7, '여호와 하나님이 땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고'(AC.94-97)

7절, 여호와 하나님이 땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고 생기를 그 코에 불어 넣으시니 사람이 생령이 되니라 And Jehovah God formed man, dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives, and man became a living soul.

‘땅의 흙으로 사람을 지으시고’(To form man, dust from the ground)는 그의 겉 사람을 지으시는 것입니다. 5절에, ‘땅을 갈 사람도 없었으므로’(no man to till the ground)를 보면, 그의 겉 사람은 전엔 사람이 아니었습니다. ‘생기를 그 코에 불어 넣으시니’(To breathe into his nostrils the breath of lives)는 그에게 신앙과 사랑의 생명을 주시는 것입니다. ‘사람이 생령이 되니라’(man became a living soul)는 그의 겉 사람 또한 살아있는(alive) 상태가 되었음을 의미합니다. To “form man, dust from the ground” is to form his external man, which before was not man; for it is said (verse 5) that there was “no man to till the ground.” To “breathe into his nostrils the breath of lives” is to give him the life of faith and love; and by “man became a living soul” is signified that his external man also was made alive.
