14절, 여호와 하나님이 뱀에게 이르시되 네가 이렇게 하였으니 네가 모든 가축과 들의 모든 짐승보다 더욱 저주를 받아 배로 다니고 살아 있는 동안 흙을 먹을지니라 And Jehovah God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above every beast, and above every wild animal of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.

감각으로 확인할 수 없는 거 믿는 걸 안 내켜 함으로써, 감각 파트는, 이게 바로 ‘뱀’(the serpent)인데, 자신을 저주했고, 즉 그 자체가 저주였고, 그 결과 지옥 같은 처지가 되었습니다. (14절) Being unwilling to believe anything that could not be apprehended by the senses, the sensuous part which is the “serpent” cursed itself, and became infernal. (verse 14)
