AC.75, 창2:1-17, '본문, 개요, 배경'(AC.73-81)

5, 6절, 여호와 하나님이 땅에 비를 내리지 아니하셨고 땅을 갈 사람도 없었으므로 들에는 초목이 아직 없었고 밭에는 채소가 나지 아니하였으며 And there was no shrub of the field as yet in the earth, and there was no herb of the field as yet growing, because Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth. And there was no man to till the ground. 안개만 땅에서 올라와 온 지면을 적셨더라 And he made a mist to ascend from the earth, and watered all the faces of the ground.

안개로 축축해진 땅에서 나는 ‘초목’(shrub)과 ‘채소’(herb)는 그의 지식과 그의 합리성(rationality)을 말합니다. (5-6절) His knowledge and his rationality [scientificum et rationale ejus] are described by the shrub and the herb out of the ground watered by the mist (verses 5–6).  

 

※ 합리성(rationality)이란 지식과 지혜 사이 일종의 가교입니다. 지식에서 지혜로 갑자기 점프할 수는 없기 때문입니다.
