AC.163, 창2:25, '아담과 그의 아내 두 사람이 벌거벗었으나'(AC.163-167)

25절, 아담과 그의 아내 두 사람이 벌거벗었으나 부끄러워하지 아니하니라 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

그들의 ‘벌거벗었으나 부끄러워하지 아니함’(naked and not ashamed)이라는 것은 그들이 순진무구했다는 말입니다. 주님이 순진무구함(innocence, 이노센스)을 그들의 본성 안으로 스며들게 하셨기 때문인데요, 그들의 본성이 이런 순진무구함을 받아들이지 못하는 상태가 되는 걸 막기 위해서 그러신 겁니다. Their being “naked and not ashamed” signifies that they were innocent, for the Lord had instilled innocence into their own, to prevent its being unacceptable.
