AC.159, 창2:23, '아담이 이르되 이는 내 뼈 중의 뼈요'(AC.156-159)

23절, 아담이 이르되 이는 내 뼈 중의 뼈요 살 중의 살이라 이것을 남자에게서 취하였은즉 여자라 부르리라 하니라 And the man said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; therefore she shall be called wife, because she was taken out of man [vir].

그러나 천적 인간의 상태를 이해하지 못하면 어떻게 이런 일이 일어나는지를 지각하기가 쉽지 않습니다. 천적 인간 안에서 속 사람은 겉 사람과 구별되되, 실제로는 너무도 구별되어 속 사람, 겉 사람에게 속한 것은 각각 무엇이며, 겉 사람이 속 사람을 통해 주님에 의해 어떻게 통치되는지를 천적 인간은 지각합니다. 그러나 이들 천적 인간의 후손들의 상태는 자신들의 본성, 곧 자신들의 겉 사람에게 속한 본성을 징그럽게 원한 결과, 너무도 변질, 더 이상은 겉 사람과 속 사람을 구별할 수 없게 되었고, 오히려 속 사람이라는 거하고 겉 사람이라는 거하고 같은 거 아냐? 할 지경이 되었는데요, 이런 일은 사람이 자신의 본성으로 기울어질 때 일어나기 때문입니다. But it is not easy to perceive how the case is with these things unless the state of the celestial man is understood. In the celestial man the internal man is distinct from the external, indeed so distinct that the celestial man perceives what belongs to the internal man, and what to the external, and how the external man is governed through the internal by the Lord. But the state of the posterity of this celestial man, in consequence of desiring their own, which belongs to the external man, was so changed that they no longer perceived the internal man to be distinct from the external, but imagined the internal to be one with the external, for such a perception takes place when man inclines to his own.
