AC.122, 창2:15, '여호와 하나님이 그 사람을 이끌어'(AC.122-124)

15절, 여호와 하나님이 그 사람을 이끌어 에덴동산에 두어 그것을 경작하며 지키게 하시고 And Jehovah God took the man, and put him in the garden of Eden, to till it and take care of it.

‘에덴동산’(the garden of Eden)은 이미 말씀드린 대로, 천적 인간의 모든 걸 말합니다. ‘그것을 경작하며 지키게 하시고’(to till it and take care of it)는, 그가 그 모든 걸 누리게는 하셨으나 자신의 걸로 소유하는 건 금하셨다는 말입니다. 그 모든 건 주님의 소유이기 때문입니다. By the “garden of Eden” are signified all things of the celestial man, as described; by to “till it and take care of it” is signified that it is permitted him to enjoy all these things, but not to possess them as his own, because they are the Lord’s.

 

※ 천사들은 무엇을 자기 걸로 소유하는 덴 별 관심이 없고, 대신 그 쓰임새에만 관심을 가집니다. 즉 주님께 무엇을 받았을 때, 그들은 ‘이걸 왜 주셨을까? 왜 허락하셨을까?’를 먼저 생각한다는 말입니다. 천사들은 주님이 주신 걸 가지고 자기를 사랑하는 대신, 주님을 사랑하는 쓰임새의 삶에만 집중합니다.
