AC.508, 창5:13-14, '마할랄렐을 낳은 후' (AC.508-509)

13-14절, 13마할랄렐을 낳은 후 팔백사십 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 14그는 구백십 세를 살고 죽었더라 And Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

The “days” and numbers of “years” have the same signification here as before. “Sons and daughters” here also signify truths and goods, whereof the members of the church had a perception, but in a more general manner. That he “died” signifies in like manner the cessation of such a state of perception.
