AC.333, 창4:19-22 속뜻 (AC.324-337)

19라멕이 두 아내를 맞이하였으니 하나의 이름은 아다요 하나의 이름은 씰라였더라 And Lamech took unto him two wives; the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20아다는 야발을 낳았으니 그는 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고 And Adah bare Jabal; he was the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle. 21그의 아우의 이름은 유발이니 그는 수금과 퉁소를 잡는 모든 자의 조상이 되었으며 And his brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of everyone that playeth upon the harp and organ. 22씰라는 두발가인을 낳았으니 그는 구리와 쇠로 여러 가지 기구를 만드는 자요 두발가인의 누이는 나아마였더라 And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-Cain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron; and the sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah.

그 후 새로운 교회가 일어났는데, 이것이 ‘하나의 이름은 아다요 하나의 이름은 씰라였더라’(Adah and Zillah)의 의미입니다. 그들의 아들들인 ‘야발’(Jabal), ‘유발’(Jubal), ‘두발가인’(Tubal Cain)으로 이 교회를 설명하고 있으며, ‘야발’로는 이 교회의 천적인 것들을, ‘유발’로는 영적인 것들을, 그리고 ‘두발가인’으로는 자연적인 것들을 각각 설명하고 있습니다. (19-22절) A new church then arose, which is meant by “Adah and Zillah,” and is described by their sons “Jabal,” “Jubal,” and “Tubal Cain”; the celestial things of the church by “Jabal,” the spiritual by “Jubal,” and the natural by “Tubal-Cain.” (verses 19–22)
