23절, 여호와 하나님이 에덴동산에서 그를 내보내어 그의 근원이 된 땅을 갈게 하시니라 Therefore Jehovah God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.

23절은, 다섯 번째 후손의 이야기로, 이들은 모든 선과 진리가 박탈되었고, 그리고 거듭남 이전 상태였던 본래의 모습으로 돌아갔습니다. 이런 내용이 ‘에덴동산에서 그를 내보내어 그의 근원이 된 땅을 갈게 하시니라’(his being sent forth out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken) 안에 들어있습니다. (23절) Of the fifth posterity, which was deprived of all good and truth, and was reduced to the state in which they had been previous to regeneration, which is meant by his being “sent forth out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.” (verse 23)
