20절, 아다는 야발을 낳았으니 그는 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고 And Adah bare Jabal; he was the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle.

‘아다’(Adah)는 신앙의 천적인 것들의 어머니와 상응하는데요, 이는 그녀의 첫아들 야발을 일컬어, ‘장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상’(the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle)이라 하기 때문입니다. 이런 것들은 사랑의 거룩한 것과 거기서 나오는 선과 상응하기 때문에 천적(celestial)입니다. That by “Adah” is signified the mother of the celestial things of faith, is evident from her firstborn Jabal being called the “father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle,” which are celestial because they signify the holy things of love and the goods thence derived.
