20절, 아다는 야발을 낳았으니 그는 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고 And Adah bare Jabal; he was the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle.

‘아다’(Adah)는 앞서 말씀드린 것처럼, 신앙의 천적(天的, the celestial), 영적인 것들의 어머니와 상응하며, ‘야발, 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상’(Jabal, the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle)은 독트린과 상응하는데, 이 독트린은 사랑의 거룩한 것(the holy things of love)과, 그로 말미암는 선(the goods thence derived)에 관한 것으로, 이때 이 선은 천적(celestial)인 선입니다. By “Adah” is signified, as before, the mother of the celestial and spiritual things of faith; by “Jabal, the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle,” is signified doctrine concerning the holy things of love, and the goods thence derived, which are celestial.
