AC.401, 창4:17, '아내와 동침하매 그가 임신하여' (AC.399-403)

17절, 아내와 동침하매 그가 임신하여 에녹을 낳은지라 가인이 성을 쌓고 그의 아들의 이름으로 성을 이름하여 에녹이라 하니라 And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived, and bare Enoch; and he was building a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

이것이 ‘에녹’(Enoch)이라고 부르던, 모든 교리적, 혹은 이단적 가르침을 가진 일종의 이단이었다는 건 이 이름을 보면 어느 정도 분명한데요, 이 이름은 그렇게 시작된, 즉 개시된 가르침을 의미하기 때문입니다. That it was a heresy with all its doctrinal or heretical teaching that was called “Enoch” is in some measure evident from this name, which means the instruction so begun or initiated.
